Meet Our Team
Founded by Sarah Macek and Tandis Taj, Connecting US, LLC is located just north of Boston in Winchester, MA. After working in various settings throughout the years, Sarah and Tandis realized they had a common passion for helping young adults form and maintain relationships. Connecting Us, LLC was created from this shared belief. We believe that relating to others can be challenging and see mutual, accepting and fun relationships as the key to a fulfilling life. Tandis and Sarah are PEERS certified instructors.
Sarah Macek
Sarah has worked with a wide age-range of individuals in school settings, early intervention and private practice over the past 15 years as a SLP.
Of the many areas that speech-language therapy covers, she believes that social thinking and being able to connect and have relationships is so necessary for a collective humanity.
Tandis Taj
Tandis has been a SLP for over 15 years in schools and private practice. She developed a strong interest in supporting students and clients with their social and self regulation skills.
Tandis created a curriculum called “schmoga” that incorporated mindfulness, yoga, sensory activities, and social skills lessons to help clients form and improve relationships with themselves and others. Tandis lives in Winchester with her family and grouchy bulldog.
